Here at Ark, it is our mission to provide the best quality of life to our residents through high standards of care, excellent facilities and a diverse range of entertainment as well as continuing to be members of the local community. All of this ensures our residents are living well.

We are passionate in our mission to support our clients in a natural, homely environment, so that we can assist them in developing at their own pace and make real choices about their own lives. We specifically limit the size of our homes to achieve this – if the environment is too large, busy or crowded it can feel institutional and that is something we aim to avoid. Many of our clients require a high level of 24-hour support and we endeavour to provide this in a manner which is as natural and unobtrusive as possible.

Our homes are staffed 24-hours a day, 365-days a year by a team of exceptionally skilled and highly trained Support Workers, Seniors and Team Leaders who are led by the Registered Manager, Area Manager and Clinical (RGN) Head of Care.

We aim to provide care and support in such a way that our clients maximise their independence and achieve the highest possible quality of life. We put great efforts into facilitating access to mainstream activities in order to provide our clients with opportunities to have a real community presence.
